Me Fine Wines: Who we are

The founders of Me Fine Wines have over 50 years’ F&B experience between them. Paul Ellis and Joe Muscaglione are not merely wine “brokers” they are well-traveled wine experts, authorities, and passionate wine lovers who bring storied experiences on all levels both in Las Vegas and around the world to every label they offer.
Perhaps best known locally as Wine Director for MGM Grand Resort, Charlie Palmer Steak and Aquaknox, Paul R Ellis has also served as the South West Regional Manager for Champagne Roederer/Cristal and instructed at Le Cordon Bleu; The Art Institute and CSN, Las Vegas.

Previously, Paul spent a dozen years as Wine Instructor at UCLA (helping to develop the certification course) while serving as consultant to Christies Auction House, Beverly Hills. During this time he topped three separate Sommelier competitions. He’s also served as Wine Director at the Claremont Resort, Berkeley, California and the Fairmont Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
Visits to wine making regions in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and South Africa have brought Paul close relationships with myriad legendary winemakers, such as Ernie Loosen,Steve Clifton, Alex Gambal, Valter Scarbolo to name a few.

Serving as one of the first Beverage Directors for Babbo NYC and developing the country’s best Italian wine lists is hard to top, but Joe Muscaglione seems to add to that experience with every new chapter. In Las Vegas, he was the opening Beverage Director at TAO Las Vegas, developing and overseeing a program renowned both for its depth and groundbreaking volume. More recently, he’s served as Nevada State Sales and Marketing Manager for the Global Beer Network.

Previously, Joe has also served as marketing and training Consultant for premier Italian importers Winebow and as founder of Syrah Enterprise PR and Marketing. His former restaurant Trattoria Mezzojuso (Joe was Chef/Owner) was voted Best New Restaurant, New Jersey Monthly Magazine. Joe learned cooking and wine in Sicily, and also traveled wine regions throughout Western Europe.
As a team, Joe and Paul have built or introduced brands into Nevada- leaders such as the Jewel of Russia vodka, St Bernardus beer, the majority of Italian craft beers in the market in addition to over fifty-five 95 plus point fine wines and craft beers
